QuestionWhy can’t I purchase it when it says preorder? Every time I try to it just tells me it’s not available online and I don’t understand.

- Answer No it does not let you order in store. I went to 3 BestBuy store locations and they all are telling me the same thing. It is not available for pre-order yet even though it pops up online to come in store for pre-order.

- Answer Unless someone gets lucky, the Ellie Version of this game is Sold Out everywhere; even for pre-order. One may get lucky and snag one IF they make more available, but I recommend buying a Collectors Edition . You can pick one up a couple different places and they are easier to get. AT THIS TIME.

QuestionHas anyone gotten a hold of one? Asking just to give me hope that more will be available. I think none have been sold. No other collectors edition sells out that quick.

- Answer So from what I understand from some quick research, the Ellie Edition should be available for pre-order 9/26 aka Outbreak Day. Now I don't know if this means that it will be available 12:00 am eastern (9:00 pm western), 12:00 pm western, or sometime midday. From what I read, Best Buy and Gamestop made the product available for pre-order when they shouldn't have, so the product isn't actually sold out. However, take all this with some skepticism because I myself do not know for sure.

- Answer This is the Pre-order of the Ellie Edition. There are only a limited amount of each edition. This game doesn't come out till Feb 2020 . The web-site works fine. If you want to pre-order a specific version then check back here in case they put anymore out . OR go somewhere else that has that versions still available.

- Answer Release Date:02/21/2020 But , the Last of Us 2 - Ellie Version is pretty much sold out for preorder. You'll have better chance at getting the Collectors (Special edition) or regular version. They might have more "Ellie" versions available down the line or you get lucky.

QuestionI had the Ellie edition in my cart but shipping/store pick-up wasn't available for 250 miles so I couldn't buy it. I checked the other editions and shipping/store pick-up were available. Why?

- Answer Apparently there was a glitch in their system, the Ellie edition is now available but you can only purchase it instore

- Answer The Ellie version sold out. Personally, I couldn't even get this version even going into the store. I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition. Now, the release date has been set. But, it's not a 100% guarantee it won't be delayed for some reason.
