“Will The Last Of Us Part II have an early (night before) release where customers who preordered physical copies are allowed to pick up on June 18th? I only ask because the same happened for Red Dead Redemption 2 (October 26th, 2018; pick up ready on 25th)”

I’m thinking it will happen. We recently did it for Doom Eternal while we were doing this COVID-19 model of our business, and this game is going to be the biggest game of the year. I have a feeling you will be able to pick it up the day before. We release to Doom Eternal at 3 PM the day before it came out, due to the stores closing at 6 PM. I can’t guarantee it but we’ve done the same for other games, and they were nowhere as big as the last of us 2.
