• A:Answer Hi Steve, thank you for your question and interest in Model:CIT36YWB. The entire cooking surface of the cooktop supplies induction heating. You can place cookware anywhere inside the usable area of the cooking surface. The position, size and shape of the cookware will be detected automatically. You can heat up to six items of cookware at the same time on the cooking surface.

Q: QuestionI have the same question as Steve's. The answer needs just a bit of clarification. You say that the surface will detect the cookware as long as it is "within the cooking surface". Can you specify the measurement of the actual "cooking surface"? thanks
