“Hello there is a about a 1" gap between the oven range and wall because it's hitting the gas valve and the plug. The gas pipe cannot be recessed according to the contractor. What can be done to fill the gap. Please advise. Thank you.”

According to the guidelines my company follows the valve has to be accessible and able to operate. Ask in that way to the contractor
