As long as it's a SATA drive, it should work fine. If the drive is very old (too old to be SATA), it won't work, but at this point, it's very likely that it's a SATA drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Before it died, I used it for days with Segate Baracuda 1.5 TB, 2.0 TB and 3.0 TB 7200 RPM drives. Also used it with 2.0 TB Hitachi 7200 RPM drive. Replaced the unreliable Thermaltake Duet with an Other World Computer OWC USB 3.1 Gen 1 Dual Drive Dock. Suggest that Best Buy add it to their product catalog.
