Probabley you did not record the audio. Audio is combined with video file and if your phone does not play audio most likely your video is recorded with no audio. Holding red button on camera for 3 secs, disables/enables audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest downloading "VLC player" for Android and using that app. Worked perfectly on my Xperia X using an "OTG" (on the go) USB adapter with a micro sd card reader plugged directly to it. No need to download the video files to your phone.

Please also review the footage on your PC to confirm whether the footage had audio recording enabled in the first place. We hope this helps. Please contact us directly by email ([email protected]) or phone (1-844-865-9273) if you require additional assistance. Kind regards, Thinkware Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, be sure you have audio enabled in your recording settings. The only other issue I can think of is the file-type of the video once transferred. You probably did this but just in case: Don't transfer the file directly from the dashcam to your phone. First save it to the computer. Then play it on the computer to ensure it is working correctly. Then you can transfer it from the computer to your phone. File-type is a common issue and following the proper order-of-operations will often prevent and/or resolve them. You can also manually "save-as" and change the file type. For example: "videofile.wma" could be changed to "videofile.mp3". But honestly that should be a last resort. My first recommendations should be sufficient. I sincerely apologize if I have not solved your issue and hope someone with more knowledge than me can rescue you. Cheers!!
