“Does this dashcam do well during the summer? Will it overheat and stop working when hot? Where I live the summers are really hot and at work there is no parking spot near shaded areas.”

Hi Julie, The operating temperature of this product is 14°F to 140°F while the storage temperature is -4°F to 158°F. Please note that the dash cam monitors the ambient temperature with its thermal sensor and will prompt shutdown if deemed too hot to avoid heat damage. We hope this answers your question! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.During the summer, it takes a while for the dashcam to start recording. After fifteen minutes of driving, it records. I only know when it records when i hear her say "continuous recording will now start."
