Hi there! You can format the MicroSD card with the Wi-Fi app under "Memory Card Settings" in addition to pressing the "FORMAT" button located at the back of the dash cam. As for the rear view camera it connects to the main camera and the recordings are stored there. To format you must press the physical button on the forward facing camera.
