A:Answer Hi there! May we ask if your dash cam is hardwired? If so, the shut off was likely related to the battery discharge prevention feature, "Off-Voltage" setting. The dash cam monitors the voltage level and if the detected level is below the adjustable threshold, it will prompt shut down to ensure that users will return to a functional car battery. As the dash cam requires more power to record in Motion Detection in Parking Surveillance Mode and the vehicle was parked in a high traffic area, it's likely the Off Voltage setting came in effect. To extend Parking Mode operation, you can either lower the Off Voltage setting and/or the Motion Sensitivity. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have other questions.
