Hi there, If you find that the impact feature on your dash cam is too sensitive, please go into the dash cam settings on the PC Viewer to lower the sensitivity levels. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, one of the settings is to adjust the sensitivity. It's not available on the cam itself so you'll need to insert the SD card into a computer and use the settings from the "Dashcam Viewer" program. (Mine dings a lot also.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem. Put the sd card from the dashcam in your computer, open the dashcam software. Under settings there is a sensitivity sliding bar that you can adjust for impacts. Move it to less sensitive. Fixed it for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dash cam is not defective. There is an adjustment (sliding control) for this feature however it does not do much good. My two dash cams do the same thing. We have some pretty bad secondary roads so it is irritating. I am getting used to it. I wish there was a way to disable the sound feature altogether !.
