Q: QuestionMy Kids loved playing Crazy taxi at the pizza shop in town. During corvid they removed the few arcade machines they had. Was wondering if someone has gotten this value steering wheel working with Crazy Taxi from Steam?
Asked by HWHL.
- A:Answer Crazy Taxi on Steam doesn't have analog steering support out of the box, meaning a steering wheel wouldn't feel any different to pressing a button. You can install mods to the game to make it work but I don't have any experience with it personally. The original 2002 PC port of Crazy Taxi has good controller and wheel support but you may find it difficult to find a copy nowadays. Thankfully people have archived it and uploaded to the Internet Archive. This wheel in particular is nice for Crazy Taxi and other arcade-y driving games (like Need for Speed, perhaps even Gran Turismo) but not for anything more demanding like racing simulators (e.g. Assetto Corza, Project Cars, American Truck Simulator, City Car Driving).
