If you need to see a constant heart rate, I recommend the Microsoft Band 2. I have had mine for 3 months now. Wow! It also tracks my sleep patterns as well as heart rate, steps taken, work out progress, Golf course actions...etc... I could go on with many, many more things this Band does... Better than just a "Health Band"! If you are serious about your health and want a great Data aggregator, this is the only one I would buy!

On his suggestions, I bought the MIO ALPHA 2, which is as accurate as my previous Polar model with a chest strap. It's on sale right now @ best buy . It was uber expensive but also does the job without any frills I don't want.
