How do I charge the battery if I don’t want to use the wall mount

Maybe not but gravity holds it in place. It might be difficult to have it laying down and stay connected to charge.

Once you secure the dock to the wall you will connect the adaptor to the dock and outlet. To charge the battery, you will want to secure the main body on the dock. The battery can be recharged while attached to the main body, or separately on the wall-mounted dock. Thanks!

the main part of the vacuum that you can hang on the wall has a small hole where you hold it and you can plug your charger stright into that i see how its its a little bit hard to see as there are a few screw holes around the same place but you can see the little hole for the charger.

It comes with the accessories to wall mount the charger, but I suppose you could just lie it flat somewhere and still charge it.

As long as the charger can be plugged in. Makes it easier to store all attachments if it is attached to wall.
