your antenna likely has a coax cable. The Coax port the ONLY place you can connect any kind of antenna into a TIVO. You may be remembering the old flat antenna wires from a long time ago. There are adapters for whichever in / outlet pattern that you need-- I've seen adapters to connect coax to old TV's that need the flat antenna connection, but you need to go from flat to coax. Google this which will give you a pic and a source. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS VENDOR--I dunno if they're still in business.
