• Yes and no, you still have to purchase access to the TV guide, this is $6.95 per month, $69.95 for a year or $249.95 for lifetime of unit. If you purchase the lifetime version, it stays with the DVR, so it will be worth more if you ever decide to sell it. I purchased a Tivo Bolt(previous version of this item) 2 years ago and am glad I purchased the lifetime version.
