“I only need one unit. I currently have Tivo ( about 4 yrs old). I love it. Shopping so I know what is out there. Does this new unit work the same as one I have? I am 79 and really hate needing to learn new tricks!!! I also have Netflix, Prime .”

This unit does sink with Netflix and Prime , but it doesn’t record shows from them. It probably works the same as your TiVo that you have now. The remote control does come with a button that allows you to say out loud the name of a show you’re looking for:)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is very similar to my previous OTA Tivo devices. The user interface is slightly different, but has the same functionality. The tuner (and therefore the video quality) are much better than my previous device.
