It only records TV from an antenna. I had to buy a digital antenna for my TV to get it to work, and though it will sync with apps like Hulu and Netflix, it doesn’t record shows from streaming devices. I got about 125 channels by hooking it to the digital antenna, and now I can record the shows from my favorite local stations like CW and Fox. It’s not going to sync with your phone though.
