The TiVo service is like $8 a month, but if you pay up front like $250 you get unlimited service without further payment. I didn’t have enough to get the unlimited, so I’m doing the $8 a month. TiVo+ doesn’t cost extra though. I do enjoy recording shows from my local stations, and watching them later, and fast forwarding the commercials.
