• The Mini doesn't have a hard drive, so you can't record to it. You can use it to access recordings on the DVR or to set up recordings for the DVR.

• No, you cannot record from the Mini. It only gives you access to the recordings on a TiVo DVR.

• You can record from a mini but the recordings are stored on your main TiVo unit and are limited by the recording capacity of that unit.
