• I would go with this GPS. To have maps of Europe, you will need to buy a Mirco sd card and then download the maps from your computer.

• The device comes with preloaded North American Maps, you will have to update the device to the latest maps at purchase. If you want to purchase Maps for another region, you can do so by download only without having to get a separate SD card.
