“Do I have to hook up my computer for a new map when I travel from Florida to Wisconsin? My Garmin needs to updated when I travel. If I use it in Florida, I need to update it by using my computer in Wisconsin. It does not work when try to use it at either place without hooking it up to my computer and installing a new map. Will the tom tom eliminate that?”

I have never had that problem with the tom tom. When you update the maps, it updates the whole United States maps and when I go to state to state it doesn't have any problem like you mentioned.
Hello lillygal, Wisconsin and Florida are both included in the American map that comes preinstalled in the TomTom GO 50 S. You therefore do not need to switch maps if you want to travel between the two locations.
