“Is the mounting assembly ( a circular bracket on the back of screen device that moveable metal clips on the mounting bracket fit into) the same as older Tom Toms? I want to use the the same bean bag dash mount and bracket from my 8 year old Tom Tom.”

Hi! That is an older version of our mounts. So it will not be compatible, however the bean bag dashboard mount will be with any of our devices Give us a hout if you have further questions-Sophia @ TomTom
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The bracket you describe sounds like the one on my old TomTom 920T from about that long ago. This one is completely different. It has a suction-cup mount attached to the back (permanently, as far as I can tell) with a joint that lets you adjust the angle. If your bean bag mount has a smooth flat surface on top instead of a permanently attached bracket, you should be able to get this unit's suction cup to stick to it. Good luck; hope this helps.
