The Customer Service rep I used was a great help to me as I needed to upload map update on my brand new TomTom whose maps were from 2016, UGH. They can help you if Iceland is possible to download.
A:AnswerI suppose this unit could be used in Scotland, as long as the required software is in place. If there is an equivalent of USA's AAA in Scotland, then the maps should be available from them. There was a time when maps could be obtained from most gas stations.
