“Does TomTom 1625TM have Traffic Camera Notifications?”

I opened my new TomTom 1625TM, and found Traffic Camera Alerts for intersections appearing to be for a trial limited period. I called TomTom and I was told some of the 1625TM releases did have a LIMITED TRAFFIC ALERT FOR, maybe 3 month and some did not have a Traffic Camera Alert at all. In the description it states Traffic Camera Alerts, in the more complex overview. This is a bit of a stretch, when it has a 3 month trial period. It definitely appears to have a 3 month trial period because when I downloaded the update for maps, it had a square to check off, for traffic camera alerts, and it noted 3 months. Kind of a bait and switch, for me. My prior TomTom 6 inch came with lifetime traffic alert, and not with this tasty trial to get you hooked. TomTom is definitely going in a backward direction. Additionally I found this model not nearly as good as my prior TomTom 6 inch. I may be returning it, as I am very disappointed, and especially when comparing it to my prior 6 inch TomTom GPS. Prior I found TomTom GPS excellent overall. Not now.
