But.... on Toshiba's site, the Toshiba CB35-B3340 states the specs are "4GB DDR3 1600MHz." and the Toshiba CB30-B3123 states the specs are "4GB DDR3L 1600MHz"..... Best Buy states that this is Model: CB35-B3340 (SKU: 8790147) and is listing the Ram as the 4GB DDR3L ..... Can someone clarify this for me as this is THE major difference between Toshiba's two models. Is it the model or the RAM that is incorrect on *THIS* listing???????????”

The Chromebook 2 with the HD Display comes with 4GB of DDR3 memory; 8-10 tabs works smoothly.

The lower model has only 2GB and a (1366x768) screen. Processor is the same and battery power is better on the lower model (screen uses less power)

Although the more expensive of the two models has 4GB RAM and the cheaper model has 2GB RAM, this does not make a big difference for most applications, only needed when you are trying to run several applications simultaneously. If you expect to do a lot of multitasking, go for the more expensive model. DDR3L is a low voltage slot, and you may be able to use a DDR3 memory in that slot, but may need to tweak the BIOS. Check with Toshiba about this. This would likely make your computer run a bit hotter and reduce your battery life. RAM is cheap and I would not recommend messing with this unless you are highly technically skilled. The biggest difference between the two Toshiba Chromebook 2 models is that the more expensive model has a high quality HD / IPS display while the inexpensive models has a standard 1366x768 display without IPS.
