• Yes; I'm using with Netgear Nighthwlk x6; and I can pair with 2.4g & 5G networks a swell as AC, and it can see my other legacy networks.

• Yes it will connect with WiFi on a signle band router modem.

• Not sure. I pair it with a b, g, n, ac router and my broadband delivers 60mps Down and Up.

• Yes it does just fine from what I've been able to tell. It's backwards compatible to the older routers (including N).
