• A:Answer It is the backlights. They burn out because the voltage is too high on each LED. They will need to be replaced using the a great deal of patience. You will probably break the paper thin screen. Then the feedback circuit will need to be checked for open 100 ohm resistors. I don't think you can adjust the backlight level on these sets. I have my personal TV's on 15% backlight level. Bright levels only adjust the transparency of the screen. Good luck!

Q: QuestionTv goes super dark. Flashes three red lights then dies. Something is wrong with this and based on other reviews this seems to be a major problem. No way to do a factory reset

• A:Answer I had the same problem. It seems like a backlight problem. If you flashlight in a dark room you could see the menu. You would have to get this lcd strips replaced. Its a pain. https://youtu.be/awQSQjGvVfk
