- Answer HD antenna will provide accessible local stations at no cost, and in HD. Assuming your Direct TV makes your local channels available, no HD antenna required. This is a Fire TV, so the Fire Stick is no longer needed. You will use whatever cable is required for Direct TV, probably HDMI for best reception.

- Answer The picture will be displayed in 1080p. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds to display the Quick Access menu, select Info to see the resolution of the video that is playing. David M. - Toshiba Support

QuestionI bought this Toshiba for my guest room. My Comcast analog cable works (with the Comcast remote) but only after I use the Toshiba remote and push the little television icon on the remote. Can this get set to default to cable when the TV is turned on
