- Answer Yes, to fully get the full screen video features it is necessary. Other wise you'll be stuck with the old square screen dimensions from older models.

Questiontrouble with antenna picture everything works shows the channel bar and shows playing but there is no picture on any channels! Is it possible the digital tuner went bad? Husband just unplugged power and plugged back in now working! sign of trouble????

- Answer I haven't had that happen but i've only had my set a month. In general, I would say if it happens again it may be a sign of trouble. If it's a one time thing it may be ok. That is the reason I replaced my Visio I kept having to do a reset because it was having a variety of problems and they were occurring more frequently.

- Answer If this happens while trying to watch your TV with a cable box or an antenna, try with this: While watching the TV, press the home button for 3 seconds, a menu on the right side must appear. Go to Auto aspect and turn it off, then go to Picture Size and choose the one that looks more appropriate for you, I'd recommend you the first option which would give you the full size

- Answer In order to get the HDMI1 as power on option you need to: On the home screen, go to settings, then go to Display and Sounds, navigate to Power on and then select Last input used. After having selected Last input used, go to the home screen, select the HDMI1 and turn the TV off and on (This must be done while watching the TV)
