Everything you tried is not compatible with 4K resolution. Most television providers don't support 4K. The version of Chromecast that is built into the TV also doesn't support 4K. The PS4 and PS4 Slim have a maximum resolution of 1080p, so the 4K HDMI cord won't "make" the PS4's resolution 4K. Some 4K-compatible products include Roku 4, a 4K Blu-Ray player, a PS4 Pro, and an Xbox One S.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just haven’t tried anything that is casted in 4K. The other guy is wrong, the built in chrome cast DOES support 4K. Try watching a new Netflix series, like ozark or something. All new Netflix series are shot in 4K. Use the Netflix app and cast it, then press “info” on the remote and watch it climb to 2160p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.some options for 4k you can either buy an Xbox One S (best option) which supports 4k including netflix 4k or you can use dish and get the 4k joey (not much on it right now other than a couple dozen rentals) setup. I will tell you though since i have a starter 4k tv the difference is underwhelming and in my opinion without the hdr and a better set not worth it.
