Is this disk compatible with late 2009 27 inch Mac? null

Yes. I owned a 2009 imac and it had a 1tb seagate. The size of the drives in inches are the same and both use sata to connect. I would think you could use it.

Not as an internal drive, but you could get a SATA/USB dock and put the drive into that, and then attach it to your Mac via a USB cable.
