• I just installed the Toshiba Canvio Slim II 1 TB external 3.0 Portable Hard Drive and my 2008 Dell that runs Windows Vista - it will work great.

• I don't see any reason it wouldn't work with vista. As long as you have working USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports, this drive should work for you. if by some slim chance it doesn't seem to show up in your explorer window (though i doubt it wouldn't) then just go to disk management on your system and format the drive to NTFS or Fat32 and it'll work.

• It Does Work On Vista. It Was One Of The Computers I Backed Up An Have Already Put It To Good Use . I Am No Big Fan Of Vista The Program Is To Slow.

• It's working fine so far copying and pasting lotsa files to it over the past few days connected to a very old laptop running Windows 2000 Professional (sic) via the USB cable that came with it. I haven't tried running any of the software that came with it, though.
