“I'm having problems hooking up my new Toshiba Vhs/Dvd player. Plugged in ac cord,and antenna/cable but don't know how to hook up the part that gives me a picture.”

You will need to have cable TV or Satellite service or a separate Digital TV analog receiver to receive any TV Stations in your local area, to get a picture . This machine does not have a built in TV tuner and can NOT be used to receive a TV signal on it's own. You May hook Up any compatible Video source to the input on the back or front of VCR/DVD recorded to view or record it's source. If you have a HD TV, you can hook up the antenna to it and scan for channel in your local area to watch, but you cannot record them.
