Toshiba Still Keeps on Top of it's Reputation of Being Up to date with All their Product Line.This DVD Player/VERY Combo with easy operating instructions, easy set up,anyone can use it to its full advantage. Great Combo without paying an arm n leg for two separate units. I love it and like so many Toshiba Products that I glad to own from The Original Laptop Inventor to Television Units ,etc. That are currently use in my Home. Always look at Toshiba Products before you shop and you be a Very Happy For Life Customer

Mainly using the unit to watch VHS tapes. Set up easily. No problems so far. Picture is good. Control is easy to use.

I have been looking for a combo like this for a while now, but they're hard to come by now and not to mention expensive. This combo is not only affordable, but a great product as well. Bought it in December n have not had a problem.

Just the player I was searching for. Found it at a great price at Best Buy. Easy to connect, good quality and trust the Toshiba brand. Best Buy sales associate was both helpful and knowledgeable.

I needed a new DVD/VCR combo to replace my old one and this is the only one I could find at a reasonable price. Since they no longer put tuners in these things, I needed a second set of wires (not included, only one set comes with it) to plug it into the cable box in order for the vcr to be able to tape anything off the TV. But after I figured that out, unit serves its purpose. I only have two real problems with the unit. First, the tray that you put DVD’s into is made of very thin cheep plastic that you have to be extra careful while handling or it could very easily brake off. I do not recommend people with children in the house to let them touch it. Second problem is the layout of the remote. There are a lot of very tiny similar looking and feeling buttons on it. And most of them I never use, especially the number buttons, you don’t use them to set the time and date, that’s all clicking up and down, and because there is no tuner, you don’t use them to change the channels, so they are useless. This makes it very hard to find the DVD buttons, especially at night, in the dark, like I like to watch most movies so I can feel like I am in the theater. My old DVD/VCR combo’s remote had the DVD buttons bigger than the rest and other important buttons had different textures and shapes. But overall, it plays DVD’s and my old VSH's, and records off the TV, so it serves its purpose and was at a reasonable price.

Since I don't want to get rid of my older VCR tapes, I purchased this product which thus far seems quite good. The remote is easy to understand and set up went just fine.

This seems to be the only way to get a VCR today, but we are quite happy with the machine. We have been able to watch several of our old Video movies, and they have good picture and sound quality for videos. There are very few makers of these machines, but we are pleased with this one. The VCR part is nice and quiet and rewinds quickly and quietly. With so little choice on the market, thankfully it is a good machine.

It was easy to hook up, easy to run, and works good. I like this product.

What can I say - it's a VCR and DVD combo! The VCR works great so far - homemade as well as store bought VHS tapes work well. DVD is great - very easy.

sturdy, functional, easy to operate machine, at a good price. bought it exclusively for the VCR capability. glad they still make these, rather than settle for something refurbished.

Just what I was looking for. So glad Best Buy still carried these, as I have many work-out tapes on VHS that I still want to use. Easy to use, good price & looks nice too.

Hard to find these nowadays. Few folks still use VHS tapes but our daughter has quite a library and her old unit failed. Best Buy had exactly what we wanted and it was in stock. From all our daughter tells us the system works well. If the sales rep had told me I would need an RF modulator when I made the purchase, and saved me the extra trip, you would have earned an excellent rating.

Preforms just as advertised. Easy set-up/instructions. Playback VCR and DVD recording.

works well enough. Too bad this product is only choice when it comes to VHS tapes, Which I have many. No cable connection for coaxial cable. Lucky for us that our Cable box has RCA cable connections so we can record our favorite show when not at home.

Perfect and moderately priced hard to find vcr for playing old movies and family videos.

Not many options left in the industry for a VHS player, but this combo unit (also a standard DVD player) does the trick. Not a lot of extra features, but just need it to play movies for the kids.

I bought this product for my Dad. This product allows him to watch his DVD and VHS movies with a good picture. He says that his picture on the tv has actually improved with this product.
