• That is correct, this laptop does not come with a CD/DVD drive, you would need to purchase an external. (i recommend Buffalo Technology)

• It's true - there is none. You have to buy an external one if you want to use CDs.

• Correct. Laptops these days dont have dvd slots. I guess its not needed. Everyone wants things smaller but bigger and lighter as possible. We thought about is as a neg during our reveiw of them but we havent needed one yet either so we plan to buy and exteral one whenneeded
