• Yes it does have a Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support, you can play cd and dvd. And yes you can connect a printer and print from this computer.

• This laptop does have a CD Player that will read and write CDs. It will also read and write DVDs. You can connect a printer to it through the USB port. You will need to have a compatible printer to do so, but nearly any new printer sold today should work fine.
