• Thanks for your question. This Satellite C55Dt laptop features 4GB of RAM that is not user upgradable. However, the Best Buy Geek Squad should be able to upgrade the memory of this laptop.

• Yes, I had no issues upgrading to Windows 10 only a few days after I received the laptop. Also, I did not have the same mouse pad driver issues that seems to have affected others who upgraded. My mouse pad was working just fine after the W10 upgrade. Strange that some were affected by this and mine was not.

• Yes, I'm pretty sure the max is 4 gb of upgraded ram, 8gb total

• I'm sure you could go as high as 16 but why when you will most likely never use more than 8?
