• You can turn on the Mobil hot-spot, but it will run on your data plan. Use as needed, then go back & close it.

• There is a hotspot app by default, I don't have data so I can't confirm. I only use wifi and if I try to turn on the hotspot is says "wifi and hotspot can not be on at the same time please turn off wifi" Hope that helps

• Yes, and it's easy to set up. Tested download speeds from other devices when connected to this phone's hotspot and no problem hitting 20MBps when it has a 4G LTE signal.
