Purchased two LG Transpyre 4G LTE cell phones to introduce my elderly parents (83+) to a smartphone. This Android phone has been great for them to take pictures, text, and for real time contact with family. Purchased a stylus for them to improve touch accuracy when texting and surfing the internet and it works great for them. Added some apps for email, printing, skype, etc. and don"t find them using the computer much any more. The LG Transpyre 4G LTE phone has microSD storage and excellent battery life. Best Buy holiday sale pricing made them a no-brainer value. Going prepaid with Verizon was a perfect choice.

This is a cell that gets the job done. If you are looking for something with a lot of extra options, you are not being realistic. This is an inexpensive cell phone that doesn't feel like one, nor act like one. This is not for a teenager, nor an app gamer. It only has 8GB, so don't expect to be taking a thousand pics or downloading a bunch of game apps. Overall I would recommend this cell.

None of the typical issues of a prepaid phone. With an added memory card it works just as well as a regular smartphone minus one issue... In exiting active apps the screen goes blank for a few moments...

The phone works well. Great phone for a young person's first phone to help teach responsibility. Easy to use and easy to setup. Great size phone for small hands. : ) but it also seems pretty durable so if dropped it may not break as easy. It's a good value for the price. Due to its lack of popularity finding phone cases has been difficult.

I originally had a different prepaid LG phone, but only a 3G. It froze completely and wouldn't let me get back into it, so I had to get another phone that was inexpensive, just as good as the last, but better and I needed to get one asap. I love how simple this phone is to use, pretty fast, great camera, memory I had to add, helps with photos and not to mention the very tough Gorilla Glass screen. I would buy another one of these now, just to have a back-up!

I bought two of these phones for my dad and his wife as gift's. They were still both using flip phones. So for their very first touch screen phone, with all the new apps and all it's features, they like them very much. Of course they are still learning. Plus they live way out in the country and most phones don't get reception but these phones do!

This is better than I thought it would be. I expected a simple smart phone, what I got was a mini tablet. This phone functions exactly the sAmerican as our LG tablet does and it's nice and easy to use.

Getting use to my new LG phone, had to change brands because my other phone died, this is not my first LG phone, so that's why when I had to make a decision on a new phone I went with a LG, has good features, very smooth when changing screens, quality is good, size is nice. The only downfall if indeed its a downfall is there not much accessory choices for this Transpyre cellphone but all in all I give it 2 thumbs up.

This is my first smartphone, so I was looking for something decently priced. I chose this one because it had the highest reviews out of the Verizon prepaid plan options when looking on third-party websites.
I don't do anything fancy with my phone: mostly check email and text. The few apps I use load fast enough. The camera's not the best; the pictures I've tried look grainy, but I didn't buy the phone for a camera. I dropped it a few times (on linoleum and carpet) before getting a case and it held up. The main thing I don't like is the inability to remove certain default apps, although that may be the OS or Verizon and not the phone itself.

I bought this phone for my son as an early Christmas present when his cheap phone broke. He loves it and couldn't be happier. Only 4 stars because I have not experienced using the phone myself.

I ended up buying this phone because my other one broke. This is a good phone with great battery life. My complaint is that when you take a picture and want to look at it, it takes forever to load up.
