I needed to upgrade my phone with a better camera and 4G, this was a great selection at best buy for the price. Like the camera!

This is my first smartphone, so I was looking for something decently priced. I chose this one because it had the highest reviews out of the Verizon prepaid plan options when looking on third-party websites. I don't do anything fancy with my phone: mostly check email and text. The few apps I use load fast enough. The camera's not the best; the pictures I've tried look grainy, but I didn't buy the phone for a camera. I dropped it a few times (on linoleum and carpet) before getting a case and it held up. The main thing I don't like is the inability to remove certain default apps, although that may be the OS or Verizon and not the phone itself.

I bought this as a temporary replacement phone after mine broke. It only has 8 GB of memory, so this is not for the faint of heart ... You will get frustrated if you get to install apps. I have basically the stock apps, then Facebook and Twitter. You definitely need a memory card for photos, video etc. For what it is, the phone is fine. It's cheap, and you can tell. The photos and not great. Passable, but don't expect high quality. I rated this a 4 based on expectations ... It's not an actual 4 based on other Android phones, but only in comparison to what I expected ... A quick loaner to get me through to my next upgrade.

This is a cell that gets the job done. If you are looking for something with a lot of extra options, you are not being realistic. This is an inexpensive cell phone that doesn't feel like one, nor act like one. This is not for a teenager, nor an app gamer. It only has 8GB, so don't expect to be taking a thousand pics or downloading a bunch of game apps. Overall I would recommend this cell.

Because of apts that are already installed, and can't be deleted, there is not much space to add aps. However, the phone does have many features that I am very happy with.

I actually recommended this phone to my wife because she will be getting a new phone soon. It's so easy to use and has a big enough display for me and more apps than I will use. Size feels good in my hand and the picture quality is quite good! The price is hard to beat and I use it as a prepaid.

This is my first smartphone, and I'm delighted with the Verizon Transpyre! It's easy to use and so far has been quite dependable. I had some issues with Verizon during the setup process, as my account was connected to an old flip phone, and I had no access to some of the information they required. That didn't detract, however, from the phone itself. The only drawback is the camera, which takes rather low-quality pics, but I have a camera for that purpose. I'd highly recommend this smartphone for beginners like me.

Inexpensive and good for the price. I use the hotspot at with my tablet. You're not getting beauty or the greatest quality, but I don't suppose you'd expect to. Overall, great phone for the price.

The phone works well. Great phone for a young person's first phone to help teach responsibility. Easy to use and easy to setup. Great size phone for small hands. : ) but it also seems pretty durable so if dropped it may not break as easy. It's a good value for the price. Due to its lack of popularity finding phone cases has been difficult.

A very reasonable smart phone. Does everything that I need and more for a fraction of the cost of most others. The camera is decent but not the greatest - I have a real camera for photos though so not a problem. I also have an iphone 6 and use the LG more often.

I was looking for something that would work and not freeze on me all the time. So, far so good. This phone may not be the most fancy thing out there but, I still can't figure out exactly what the major real differences are between this phone and other more expensive phones. Aside from looks.

Purchased this product after trying a Cricket. This product is great. Bought it because of the LG brand. I have other LG products and all are excellent products. Only went with something different first because trying to leave Verizon service. Big mistake. Now have this LG cell on a monthly basis with Verizon and could not be more satisfied. Great reception with good sound, camera works great too.

Overall, this is a more basic version of smartphones available on traditional plans, but it works reliably. It is a decent option if you are looking for an inexpensive pre-paid phone.

Purchased two LG Transpyre 4G LTE cell phones to introduce my elderly parents (83+) to a smartphone. This Android phone has been great for them to take pictures, text, and for real time contact with family. Purchased a stylus for them to improve touch accuracy when texting and surfing the internet and it works great for them. Added some apps for email, printing, skype, etc. and don"t find them using the computer much any more. The LG Transpyre 4G LTE phone has microSD storage and excellent battery life. Best Buy holiday sale pricing made them a no-brainer value. Going prepaid with Verizon was a perfect choice.
