That would primarily depend on the placement of the router; however please bear in mind that physical obstructions, especially dense ones such as concrete, will pose a significant impact on overall WiFi strength. Since this is a dual-band router, we recommend using the 2.4GHz band for devices that need signal further, or through solid obstacles. If your home has a lot of concrete, a Mesh WiFi System such as our Deco M5 may be more ideal. Regards, TP-Link Support
