I have the same question. Yes, the manufacturer of the DVR supports /recommends this type of installation. The question is will this this product connect wirelessly to another router that is already connected to the internet/modem? The DVR/NVR will then be connected to this product via Ethernet cable. Will this product support that type of installation?
