Yes, our AC4000 WiFi router can be used with any Internet service by connecting to the modem via Ethernet. Your ping will vary depending on numerous factors including, but not limited to: which medium you are connecting to the router with (i.e. Ethernet or WiFi), your Internet provider's speed and latency, and if connecting via WiFi, which band, how far from the router you are, and the WiFi capabilities of your gaming device.
