You can try, but don’t think you will get a good connection if any at all. Best case would be the lower bandwidth 2.4 GHz band. All said, you should install a hard wire CAT6 cable between the garage and the network router/switch to get decent bandwidth. If hard wiring is not an option, there are point-to-point wireless bridge links that are available on the market, but line-of-sight is required for that link. Hope this helps!
