If you intend to use the Deco in Access Point Mode, this should work fine since all 3 Deco units are connected to your modem/gateway. However if you are using the Deco in Router Mode, you may be inadvertently creating a network conflict by connecting two nodes to a separate router (if your modem is also a router/gateway), instead of to the primary Deco. If you intend to use the Deco in Router Mode, we recommend configuring your modem as a bridge (modem-only mode) so the Deco can operate as your primary network router. Then, if you intend to use the Ethernet backhaul option for your remote Deco nodes instead of the WiFi backhaul, please ensure they are connected to the primary Deco node's network via a switch that is connected to the primary Deco.
