It doesn’t have to be different. But it will not know your old passcode. Even if you name your WiFi the same name and passcode as before, your devices will have to be connected manually, because it is a different. SSID.

If you would like, you can use the same SSID (WiFi name) and password as your previous WiFi router by customizing it during setup.
