Hi TROD, This Deco Mesh Wi-Fi System is not a modem. It is designed to replace your existing Wi-Fi router with seamless Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. The main Deco will need to be wired to your existing Internet source device (e.g., modem) via Ethernet.
