Q: QuestionI'm trying to understand how this works? You plug 1 into your modem, so does that automatically extend my coverage or do I need a 2nd one at the other end of my house? I have a 1650 sq ft home. Is 1 sufficient or do you AlLWAYS have to have at least 2?
Asked by 1or2.
- A:Answer You can use one, two, as many as you need (up to 10 total) depending on your networking needs. One Deco unit must be connected via Ethernet to your modem; the other unit(s) can be connected via WiFi or Ethernet. Regards, TP-Link Support

The Deco Mesh WiFi system is designed to provide reliable, seamless WiFi connectivity for your home with convenient management via the Deco app. If you have any questions regarding which product is best suited for your networking needs, please email [email protected] and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.
