• I have a USB 5TB SSD plugged into one of my nodes, and am able to access it from most of my devices.

• Yes. Plug in USB SSD. Then, under Advanced setting, select USB Sharing. Next, select USB Settungs. Media sharing, network neighborhood, and FTP (Local) should be enabled by default. And, FTP (Via Internet) is also an option, but is disabled by default.
