- Answer Short answer no it cannot work on the PC I was hoping it would but you actually need the app and any account you have with kasa is just helpful to buy stuff but the phone app works very well

- Answer I have the Alexa dots and the Alexa show and all I do is say Alexa show me the front door which I have a ring doorbell or I can say Alexa show me patio camera and it comes through loud and clear ... I think you would really enjoy this especially the part where it will follow the subject, you can cut off sound or on sound you will have to cut down the sensitivity as mine even picks up squirrels ,Rick ( former newsman) in NC

Questiondoes it have a shield? One I am replacing had a shield where I could turn it off. One I bought you can turn off the recording but you can still watch via the app and I don't want that.

QuestionAre there any blinking lights?

- Answer Yes (not sure if they blink I think it's just green) and you can go to settings and turn them on or off, night vision infra red lights are red when night vision is on those have to be on when night mode is on.

QuestionIf I leave on vacation and have my camera on. Will it still work even though I am not on the same WiFi? I need access to it when I am not home.

- Answer We tried this for the first time and not only was it easy to install but worked flawlessly to allow us to have peace of mind while away on a recent vacation. We actually tried other products that were cumbersome and complicated to set up and tried TP-Link for the first time. We were able to access the camera from the WIFi of our Hotel at the resort with no problems. A definite good first experience with the product line, so much so that when we arrived home from our trip, we returned other products that we tried at the same time and expanded our security system to include more TP-Link products. Very satisfied customer. A reliable product and already looking into newer products from TP-Link.

Questionhello. this thing quits turning twice a week. just baught it a month ago. i was hoping it would just be slick sence new... nver got better. when i got it it gave me film after film recordings. now it says 12 hours., i cant review 5+ minutes now.
