How is the wi fi command sent to the switch ? null

Personally I use Home Assistant while I’m on my WiFi to control my Kasa switches and plugs. Kasa does have an app that works great also.

You activate the switch and then use the phone app to connect to the switch via wifi. Once set up you control from the phone app.. I have 6 switches and plugs that I control this way

thru your wifi router and engage from either kasa app or google assistant, Samsung smart-thing, and alexsa.
